Rapunzel yarn along

Plugging away at this new hat. The crocheting part is finished.  Just needing to thread a bazillion lengths of yarn through each row.  Kind of mindless in a pleasant sort of way.  :)  No reading for me this week beyond my daily portion of The Spiritual Life.  I'll stop mentioning it now until I've finished with it.

Right now two of my kids are sick and the littlest one with a fever.  So sick babies and a sleepy mama are not a recipe for a lengthy blog post.  Godspeed!

Joining Ginny and friends for this week's Yarn Along.

  1. This is an awesome idea! Why did I never think of it with all the dolls' wigs I'm crocheting all the time?! I really have to make one like this for my daughter who is constantly playing dress ups. Thank you so much for sharing!! Lena x

    1. My pleasure! My daughter is forever pretending that sweaters and such are long hair. The need for something like this for her was pretty obvious! :) When I'm finished, I'll post up the details on how. Right now I'm feeling my way along.

    1. Why not! I saw one for a cabbage patch kid. I'm wondering if I should make one for my littlest. So cute!

    1. Thanks! Me too! Even sick, babies are sweet. Little cuddle-monkeys! I could do without the runny noses though...

    1. I can't believe I didn't think of it before now, but it is darling. My plan is to fill the whole crocheted cap with long yarn "hairs" just like the bottom. Ambitious...
